The entire group do fun activities, at some time the mix of buddies and friends will be split apart. Activities include People to People, Shoot Me Down, Kissing the Baby, Finger Grab, Knee to Knee, Neck to Neck etc. Then everybody get a number. All the “number 1’s” would be in a team, and all the “number 2’s” in another team, etc. About ten people per team works great for a team building event.

Our Amazing Race has low physical requirements and is fit for all ages. Each of our venues have their own unique Amazing Race. Teams start with a short detour, then they have to find interesting places and WhatsApp a group photo, find puzzles of actual places, and finally they finish by finding an iconic venue. Our Amazing Race is hilarious and requires lots of imagination and creativity.

I am sharing my recent experience with KSMART so that others are aware of the challenges I encountered when using their services.
ReplyDeleteOur company paid KSMART in advance for 32 tickets for Gold Reef City. On arrival at the venue, we discovered that only 14 tickets had been paid for by KSMART, despite us paying them the full amount upfront. This resulted in an extremely embarrassing situation at the gate, as we had to make additional payments directly to Gold Reef City in order to proceed with our event.
When I contacted KSMART, they initially claimed that this was a “typo,” but they did not provide an immediate solution. I repeatedly requested the refund for the 18 tickets that were never purchased, amounting to R15,030, but the company delayed, stating they needed to “assess the situation” and “obtain a statement” from Gold Reef City.
Gold Reef City confirmed that they had only received payment for 14 people. They also informed me that KSMART was not responding to their calls.
Despite multiple follow ups, urgent requests, and escalating the matter to law enforcement based on advice from the Rosebank Police Station, KSMART continued to delay the refund and pushed the payment date out further.
As of the last communication, the refund had still not been issued, and no proof of payment was provided.
This experience caused unnecessary stress, embarrassment at the venue, and significant inconvenience to our team. Based on the above interactions, I am choosing to share this information publicly so that others can make informed decisions before engaging with KSMART.
