Ice Breakers and Dividing Teams

The entire group do fun activities, at some time the mix of buddies and friends will be split apart. Then everybody get a number. All the “number 1’s” would be in a team, and all the “number 2’s” in another team, etc. About ten people per team works great for a team building event.

Amazing Race Thrill Rides

Teams have to solve riddles and then go on as many rides as possible, including the Anaconda, Dream Boat, Golden Loop, Jozi Express, Miners Revenge, UFO etc. New rides at Gold Reef City include the High Flying Maverick and the Storm Chaser.

Amazing Race Imagination

This is a low-physical treasure hunt where teams have to use their "imagination". Teams have to solve riddles, find coins, and then teams have to use their imagination and take "selfies" with various abstract background, i.e. Donald Trump, Traffic Officers, Angelina Jolie, Olympics etc.

Bonus Points, Tower of Terror

Earn bonus points for this heart-stopping 50m drop at a speed a of 100km p/h straight into an open mine shaft. Definitely not for everyone

Bonus Points, Fun Train

Easy bonus points by simply taking a scenic train ride around the Gold Reef City theme park. The train departs every 15 minutes
